Who do you register with about doing food as a chilminder environmental health or council and do I do this before Ofsted come out for pre-reg visit I am not sure. Can anyone help ?

Environmental health but I wouldn't do anything before you're registered.

Get a copy of the Safer Food book for childminders - google it and it will come up with details of how to get one and go through that.

You need to register with your local auth.If not sure which it is you can go to
www.food.gov.uk/enforcement/enforceessential/yourarea. They should then send you a registration form to complete.Once registered the food safety officer will contact you to make a visit

Yes mine is as well. I just ring my local council and ask to be put through to environmental health.
