Complainst Folder

Just getting everything ready for inspection. I was told by my Childrens Services to have a complains folder ready. I have the complaint format and use my procedure in it. Is there anything else that should go in it

if you get a complaint then you have to keep it in there, along with your response etc but i can't remember how long for. :blush:

I haven't got a folder :panic: My complaints procedure is in with my other policies and procedures.

The inspector will probably want to see somewhere displayed contact numbers for parents should they wish to make a complaint and also complaint forms are easy accessible for parents. We have ours on the wall in the hallway.

I have a folder with complaints procedure and some forms in case parents / anyone want to fill them in.

I also have a copy of the Ofsted complaints poster (with their address details) displayed on the notice board.

I keep the complaints file with parents information :D
