I have just finished my childminding course and so am writing up my policies, procedures and risk assesments. For my policies and procedures I have:
> Accident and Emergency
> Administration and Settling in
> Equal opportunities
> Medication
> Opening hours and Fees
> Special needs

For my risk assessment I have:
> Animal (as I have a dog)
> Books
> Construction
> Paint, Glue, Chalk and Crayons
> Soft cloth toys
> Living areas (Living room, Kitchen and Bathroom)

Can anyone help me with what else OFSTED reqiure and then any others that would also be a good idea to have. Also do I have to do a seperate risk assessment for each outing as I will have to use different forms of transport to different places. I dont have a garden so thats why there is nothing for that but I will be using the park over the road. Do I also need a risk assessment for drop off and pick up at school?
Thanks

The statutory P & Ps for the Childcare Register are here -

The Eyfs says you need to risk assess everything the children come into contact with and all types of outings.
