Crush on a boy at 6?

My DD threw me yesterday. She mentioned there was a new boy in her class called **** and he was really funny. She said it with a real little twinkle in her eye.

Could she have a crush so young? I asked her did she like him, meaning as a friend and she said yes and giggled. She did go on to say that he Blows Off whilst cartwheeling so perhaps that's it. Just was a look I didn't expect to see for some years

My youngest had a crush on a girl at that age. He was heartbroken when she moved on and got a new 'boyfriend'.

I can remember walking around the playground holding hands with a boy called David at the tender age of six - he was our next door neighbour too!

My dd is terrible. She would be about 6 when she commented on someone on tv and how cute he was....
Now she's nearly 10 and always comments on cute boys..I'm gonna have to keep an eye on her very closely...:D
