Bromley childminding site have this procedure

http://www.bromleycma.org.uk/policies/Complaints_Procedure.doc

You would make a record of the complaint and investigate and discuss your findings and the outcome with the parent. You would keep the record of the complaint.

They also have a complaints form to record the complaint on

http://www.bromleycma.org.uk/policies/Complaint%20Form.pdf

You can use and adapt these to your setting.

Good luck for tomorrow. Your pre-reg is to ensure that any questions you have are answered and to advise you of things that you need to do. Try not to panic you'll do great.

Good advice given.

Remember your pre reg is the opportunity to ask for help and advice with reegards to anything you need help with. Dont be afriad to ask the inspector about things you are not sure of, you are not expected tohave everything in place but show that you have a good knowledge of the standards. The bromley site given above is excellent for adapting policies for your setting.

Good luck for your meeting!
