Default Activities for girls 4 and 10

Your ideas please , what on earth to do with girls in the summer holidays

I usually look after under 5s and boys , bizarrely , its just the way it has worked out , I also had 2 sons and no daughters, what do girls like doing

Im looking after 2 girls in the summer hols , they are sisters , aged 4 and 10 and they are polish with very limited english

I usually have the 4 year old anyway so have an idea how to keep her busy , but im at a loss with the 10 yr old , I also have a 5 yr old son , so need things they can all enjoy

I will have them from 8am until 1pm for 16 days in total , I dont want to travel too far or spend lots of money , so any inspiration would be very gratefully recieved

    I live in South Northampton

Obviously Ill ask them and their mum what they like doing but would be nice to hear what other ideas you lovely mums can think of and come up with something new

    Thankyou

    Heeellppp!!!:-)

I have quite a few beads that I bought from eBay and some elastic from Crafty Crocodiles for making necklaces. I've got girls and boys aged 2-10 and they all like making bracelets.

Hama beads are good, there is a forum code for Craft Merrily where you can buy them.

Baking, very cheap and ideal to make their own snacks/picnics. I bet they'd like to help mkae simple meals such as pizzas too.

we go out and about to pass the time,, we go walking in the woods, parks, libary, feed the ducks, anything thats free.
hama beads, jewarly making with beads or pasta tubes which you can paint first, painting, baking, playdough, drawing, junk modeling, dressing up and making plays,
you could find an empty box then they could make some characters that you can stick to lolly sticks to make their own thearter and performances.
