    Default 10 months

    Hi

Having a 10 month old starting with me soon and as I am a newly registered and have my old child. I am a bit stuck as What I do with my own child would probably be different with a minded child. The parents just want their child to be dropped off looked after and then picked up they are not into all the paperwork side of things which, in itself is hard enough as they aren't really bothered about policies!!!

So, my question is, to be sure I am getting this right for any fututre inspections what sort of activities could any one suggest.

    Thank you in advance.

With such little ones I tend to find most of the day gets filled just by their routine. They will prob have a couple of snacks, and meals, one or two sleeps, make sure you get out the house for a walk or trip to the park or something in the morning.
I love little ones of this age! If you do get some time in the house they are usually happy with some simple baby type toys - or the sorts of things others have suggested!

I have a 10 month old mindee at moment, He loves a box of bricks to tip out, treasure baskets, musical instruments, bubbles. Anything taking into account everything goes in his mouth. I have one of those shiny first aid blankets and he loves the nose it makes when he shakes it also he loves ripping news paper though you have to watch he does not swallow any bits he always looks shocked when he rips a piece, its very funny to watch. Thank you.

Being VERY new how do you plan like one of the ladies says the routine is still the key element.

But I am struggling to do long term and short term planning.

    Are you doing themes??

Sorry there is so many questions but it is a mind field of paperwork which is ok as I am used to that but the actual implementing the planning and obs.
