    Default Leap Day activities

PSED – talk about weddings (girls asking boys to marry them) and set up a pretend one using dressing up clothes and home made hats and flowers for the bride

CLL – talk about what ‘leap day’ means and learn the rhyme ’30 days have September, April, June and November, all the rest have 31, except February alone, which has 28 days clear and 29 in a Leap Year’ and that’s today!

PSR&N – count as far as you can up to 29 and make a counting line using dots or ‘F’ for February

KUW – look at Google as the name features a frog today. Link this to stories / rhymes / finger plays / songs etc about frogs

PD – do 29 hops, jumps, skips etc

CD – paint a picture of your favourite activity from February to share with parents later

    Have fun!

    Thanks Sarah.

We're making more mothers day cards shortly and then think we'll do some excercises. 29 of everything... get them nice and tired
