I often prepare shapes suitable for a dad eg a tie or car then get the children to decorate them, great for very young children

Older children like to make their own cards decorated with items cut out of the argos book or anything that takes their fancy from my craft box

We have also make paper clip pots from clay and book marks from felt and card
