Default 2 under 2..help with ideas

I have a 12 month old and an 18 month old and am having difficulty keeping them amused. If I get pencils out the baby throws them all over floor, if we do stickign , the baby eats everything, if we get the bricks out they both throw them.
Treausre baskets only take up a small amount of time.
I am fine on a normal day as we go toddlers but if its cancelled and we are in all day, it is a very looooong day.
    Any ideas?

I currently have a 12 mth old and a 10mth old everyday, the 12 mth old loves throwing things also so I give her soft toys and small bean bags and I have a wicker box, I throw them in to begin with and baby (10 mth) takes them out and she puts them in again, they are now showing an interst in shapes and sorting and will do this a lot.

also banging toys is happening here a lot so i give pots etc so on making marks I do gloop they love this and the mess, how about an obstacle course I use cushions and bean bags (the ones u sit on not as above lol) and pieces of materials, tunnel etc and they luv exploring, probably loads more just typing from top of my head

the 15monthold i have loves pushing a pushchair and putting the dolls in and out of it, she also loves hiding under blankets and playing pebo, you could try the aqua draw mats as its water not crayons if they put it in their mouths.
stacking cups they love cause they can stack or put them inside each other and also anything that makes a noise, oh and she loves dancing to music and shaking rattles.
you could break the afternoon up by a nice walk to the park or even just round the houses to see the different sights, sounds, smells etc.
puddle splashing is great fun at that age too.

I have a 14th month old and an 11 month old, they love playing with containers, instruments, play tunnel, emptying and filling boxes, rolling different sized fruit around ie; apples, oranges, melon. I sing songs and do action rhymes, I read stories and they love the touch and feel books. I turn on a musical toy and hide it and they love lifting things up to find it, we have crawling races across the floor to reach a toy( they aren't walking yet), I build towers for them to knock down, I leave them to explore the toy boxes and they love to choose their own toys. They also love puppets especially when I do silly voices (they are often puzzled as to whether its me talking or the puppet!). I make edible play dough and have a recipe for edible finger paint somewhere, they do this in the highchairs so they mark the paper or just the tray, we also play with gloop and porridge oats and jelly. Lots more just drawn a blank at the mo!
