We did conker painting today by putting a piece of paper in the bottom of a sweet tin then blobs of paint. The little ones dropped the conkers into the tin, put the lid on and gave it a good shaking,
They loved the noise it made as the conkers rolled around.
Each had a different picture to take home.

Might have to pinch this idea, especially as my mindees are either young or not really interested in arty/crafty stuff!!! (Boys who would rather be running around the garden )

I've collected some large leaves from an Arboretum and we will paint glue on them and add glitter. Just a simple thing but looks pretty.
