Matching 3D objects to 2D silhouettes
Does anyone have any ideas on activities like this? I have been given a checklist to complete before my OFSTED inspection and one of the bullet points is;
Are there opportunities for children to match 3D objects to 2D silhouettes in storage?
I can only think of puzzles I have like that but can't think of any other activities right now!
Also stuck on;
Are there resources to support the use of tallies or scoring?
The child I mind is only 18 months and can't think of anything like that!
Thanks

Shape sorters are 2D to 3D shapes?!

Thankyou! Didn't think of that, I think i'm reading too much into the questions, when it's mostly things I do anyway! Thankyou!

Yep, that's what normally happens!! You don't realise how much you do without thinking!

What about getting an abacus (if that's what it's called) the thing you slide the beads across on

Everything could be used for tallies and scoring... Bricks, cars, pens and paper, etc.
