Inventing a fruit smoothie is easy, you don't have to follow any recipe exactly. Bear in mind that if you use a sour or tart fruit, you should also include a sweet fruit to balance it out. i.e. one grapefruit and one banana. Place the fruit in a blender or food processor and mix, then add enough apple juice to make the consistency of your choice, either thick or thin. Depending on the amount of apple juice you add this should make two smoothies. |
