Default Lego bricks/base boards wanted please

Has anyone got any lego they don't want/for sale? I have three children on my books between age 5-8 plus two of my own in this age group and think it would be an ideal activity. Money is tight so can't afford new. Thanks

Yes ebay is really dear for lego, maybe as it's near Xmas.

I don't get out to boot sales much, I'm usually asleep sunday morning

I would also say charity shops or car boot sales. If you want the bargains you need to put in the foot work im afraid x

I will attend all the local school Christmas fayres with the idea of picking up some bargains from the toy stall and the money going to a good cause....though I know from experience the best donations will have already been creamed off for the school's reception and nursery class - still a good place for really cheap second hand resources.

Ebay is your best bet for lego or ask any teenage boy you might have in your friendship circle, they like to sell off unused toys for extra pocket money sometimes....as long as their parents aren't childminders!! My nephew has sold a lot of his lego to his neighbour childminder.
