Foundation degree or cypw with mnt??

Hi all has anyone started a foundation degree without doing the children and young peoples workforce diploma first? I have a level 3 qualification but not in Childcare apart from cypop5, would I even get onto the degree course?

You need to ask those you are doing the FD with as the terms may be different

Usually a level 3 is required because the FD takes you to Level 4 and 5 then the BA then the final EYPS
At my Uni we needed a level 3 in childcare

I sat the last exam for my FDEY yesterday [hoorah!]

I started with OU and had no level 3 in anything.... just old age / experience ! They had just dropped the requirement for HA or A levels....

Guess it depends on which Uni you do it with... I would highly recommend OU - it took me 4 years, but pace is just about managable.
