    Default Assistant help

    Hello

I find myself in need of an assistant during holidays to enable me to go out on trips etch.

I mentioned this to someone who is very interested. However she does not have any Childcare training, first aid etc

She also has an in diagnosed medical condition that sometimes stops her from working that is linked to stress.

Now I wouldn't be taking any children on in her name so if she was unwell I could manage the children myself so that is fine. I have no problem with that and do not discriminate.

My question is can I take her on without qualification or first aid and train her up? And where do I get such training from?

    Lashely x

First aid should be available locally - it is needed if you are leaving your assistant unsupervised with the children or if your assistant will be doing a school run.
