2 Year Check Course

I have been a bit concerned about the 2 year check and last night went on a local course feeling rather apprehensive about the whole job let alone the check.

Well, it was really good, very informative and I actually know what I am doing now and it is nowhere near as scary as I thought. Somehow it has given me more enthusiasm, ideas and knowledge for all the paperwork and I actually want to get on and do it.

Just wanted to share, feeling quite positive for a change

that's great news. I ran a workshop for our local cm's last week as everyone is so scared about it. Our local support team are saying it should be done like this, like that so we just went through the absolutely MUST HAVE's and then talked about different ways of doing it that works for you and the parent.

I think a lot of people's concerns stem from worries about parents not wanting to do it or raising issues about development. Glad your course was useful.

I went to a briefing in October about it.. it really is quite easy... often the *unknown* is more challenging than the known.. and as soon as we know what exactly is involved... all is clear and not as daunting.
