    Smile what makes me happy

spring:with the sun and flowers coming up
a hot soak in the bath after a hard day
curling up in the sofa with a good book
    thursday special:daily mail (femail magazine)
a captivating smile from my daughter
when my son tells me''i love u mummy''
slowly savouring a bar of chocolate...it tastes soooooooo good !

it is the simple pleasures that actually make my day

When my 6 foot DSs give me a tight hug. I am only 5 foot 3.

When DSs are safe home from uni or parties and we are all asleep uder the same roof.

When DH and I have a night out with friends and oue eyes meet across the room.

Camping - sleeping so close to nature.

A long walk up a mountain or along the coast.

    Sunday lunch with my parents.

    Shopping with my sisters.

    Christmas.

    Church services especially Christenings.
Why hasn't Gary Barlow come to my rescue yet?

So much of all what you said makes me really more than happy and what has made me so happy this morning is reading all this!! It is really uplifting reading a thread like this for a change... it takes me to those places and those feelings - nothing more precious, money just can't buy!

I love the sun- I always feel so much happier when it's sunny and warm.

Currently the fact that I'm carrying a healthy baby girl...something that I thought may never happen.

Feeling baby move- I still remember feeling my son wriggle in my tummy and now I'm getting it all over again with this little one- it's got to be the best feeling in the world!

Music- different types depending on my mood but music in general never fails to make me smile.

When my son is getting sleepy and asks me to lie next to him in bed, then wraps his arms right round my neck.

One of my biggest moments was when my dd, 3 said "I am really happy mummy"
When my dh sobbed and sobbed when dd was born
When my older dc's aged 18, 22, 23 and 26 always say "love you" and kiss me when they leave or text
How since cming, I can afford to treat my grown up children to things they couldnt justify buying for them selves
And that cming means we can have 2 weeks abroad and 1 week on holiday here every year, I could never afford it when the older ones were little.

and the sun, smell of grass, walking in the woods and being with family

Getting through the day and everyone is safe and well at home. I always fret if my DH is late home
    A walk in the countryside
Camping in the wild with no-one else around
    Bluebell woods
    Children's laughter and smiles
Helping others, even if it's just a small thing
Having enough money to not have to worry about it but I would not want to be a millionaire as I would be giving it away
    Having good health
    To be loved

    That's what makes me happy

My daughter when shes being cute and in a good mood and can be very funny :-)

I also enjoy a nice bar of chocolate ....not at the moment got a bad stomach ache coming on and love my cat smokey she is very loving.

oh and also my husband makes me smile with his funny little jokes and at times we have the same "dark" sense of comedy....but he can be a little bit testing to some of my friends who just don't get his very open comments.

I'm sure I have loads hidden away. Things that go with out saying are anything to do with my family.

I love it when you get little compliments for example a mindee said last week 'Can I please get down from the table from that wonderfull dinner' Also when they come running up to you in town to give you a massive cuddle.

I love when the seasons change and you know the long summer days are ahead or cozy winter nights.

    Childrens laughter.

That feeling when my tent is pitched and I can sit in a field watching the world go by- never feel so relaxed as when I camp

    My 6 yr olds laugh

tromping through the forest with my doglets

walking in the rain and wind

the sight of washing blowing on the line (sad but true )

good music blasting during a housework session (Garth Brooks never lets me down!)

when my kids spontaneously help out at home 'just because'

watching my husband and girls together
