Default What really gets you going...?

I like to think I take life with a pinch of salt and am able to laugh pretty much most things off, this past few weeks I have had to laugh pretty flipping hard

Anyway this got me thinking about things that grate me and getting me going.

*People parking on a narrow road during the school run... BOTH sides and partially bloking my driveway meaning I either have to wait and be late or drive down the other end of my road (dead end) turn around and drive back. (actually offered the use of my other driveway for the culprit to use because it annoys me so much lol)

*Mums doing the school run, with children in the car, on a busy junction... TALKING ON THEIR MOBILES

*People in a car park who think that it is perfectly ok to walk in front of a moving car, on the road part, then look at the driver as if to say "What on earth are you doing driving in a car park!"

*Kids who walk around the town with the iPods on FULL blast listening to vulgar music. Especially when I have kids with me.

*Overly seriously people... just want to look at them a laugh, just to see

I have loads more, but that will do for now

I have always been very laid back and never thought things would bother me as I got older but I'm so turning into victor meldrew.
People who park in the mother and toddler parking spaces at tesco's when they don't have little ones or worse no kids at all.
People who drive everywhere doing 20 miles an hr (usually grey haired old ladies) very dangerous.
People who over take when clearly there not enough room and I'm like OMG.
Children on our estate who for some reason think its fine to play in the middle of the road and don't move when you drive down it.
Teenages who walk down the road swearing loudly when I have the kids with me.
Shop assistants who have attitude and are not pleasant.
To name but a few, lol. X

all the driving ones mentioned plus white van man thinking he owns the road, forcing you into a situation where your own car gets damaged because of his ignorant driving

lateness (I'd rather be an hr early than a minute late)
    the rising cost of food
parents shouting and screaming at their kids in public
    swearing in a public place
    smoking
people that think saying please or thank you is below them
people swigging cans of cider/beer while walking along the street- actually, add red bull to that, dont know why but red bull drinkers wind me up
the self service scan checkouts at the supermarket- takes twice as long than if I'd queued as I'm doomed where technology is concerned

Crazy people that drive in the middle of the road to go over the middle road bump even though you are coming in the opposite direction

the girl behind the bar who was too busy chatting to her friends to serve an elderly gentleman, who when she finally 'noticed' him apologised for wanting to buy a drink

same bar, all the large men sat at the bar so there is nowhere to stand to actually order a drink

dog poo not picked up or worse - picked up, bagged and flung in a tree!

Girls talking so loudly on the bus just to make sure you hear every little detail of their teenage sex lives - especially when I have mindees with me

DH not rinsing the shower after use. Leaving his razor on the bathroom basin side.

Family all being downstairs before me in the morning but no one opens any curtains

Litter - such an unnecessary thing. Take it home or bin it

    well taught

when DD was about 12 she was in local town shopping when she met a school friend, standing in the street chatting and eating sweets. The friend dropped all her rubbish, DD put hers in her pocket. Someone had a moan at them and DD was able to say it wasn't hers! I always know when DS has been to sweet shop on way home from school too as hisrubbish is in his pockets when I wash trousers

Another one. I am a non driving pedestrian. Drivers in my local town who come along the 1 way system, 2 lanes going straight on but a small road turns off from the right hand lane. Drivers very rarely indicate just suddenly swerve in just as I think it is safe to cross small road. Then look at me as if I am in the wrong.

    INDICATE please!!

And drivers please, NEVER drive through a puddle unless you would cause an accident if you tried to avoid it. If the road is wide and clear please don't soak me

Oh and I don't walk in front of cars in a car park and always wait for the green man at crossings - even without children
Happy to be back with the Greenies
