Default PLEASE TELL ME IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HASENT STARTED CHRISTMAS SHOPPING?

Well I love shopping but I never start early

I like it more when the festive season is here and the shops are full of Christmas songs and fairy lights.

Our German Market is here soon too so that will get me in the spirit of things.

I just don't like starting early

Now I know some of you have finished

    What about you?

I am exactly the same as you Angel.

I can't understand people who have all their christmas shopping done & wrapped by the end of the summer hols (OK, maybe a bit of an exaggeration!). How is that Christmas shopping?
Part of the build up to Christmas is buying presents. Do people who have bought it all not do any shopping between now & Christmas? What about all the christmas markets and christmas craft fairs?

I start at the beginning of December and am usually still buying presents on Christmas Eve

I started in September, bought my daughter a new toy kitchen was £180 reduced to £50 bargain.
I have most of her presents as it always worrys me in this job that if one of our big payers turns round and gives 4 weeks notice then I would be stuck.
Money is tight and we have to budget every penny, mostly for bills etc, so I am really pleased that we have almost finished and if the worst was to happen, my daughter is still going to have a fantastic Christmas.

I've only got a couple more to buy, our baby is due in 10 days so wanted to make sure most of it was done as we're going to be really busy. Normally I wouldn't have started by now, plus the last few years we've done a lot of baking for people which you can't do until just before Christmas. Hx

I am usuually very organised and have more or less finished everyone except my sons by now (I just keep buying for them till the shops close on Christmas eve ) but this year I just don't seem to be able to get motivated Mindees have been sorted for a while (June and I buy throughout the year in the sales) but as for my family, not done a lot so far!! I think my problem is I don't know what to get and am worried about getting something and then nearer the time finding something better!!!

I'm usually almost there by now , but this year i'm so unorganised !!

All I've managed to do is make my cards, and do a list of things to buy and from where. Now i just need someone to take me.

It's come around a lot quicker than usual this year

i've done my children & mindees, but other than that i have no idea for anyone else, and so can't shop for them!

dh wants the piano tuned and so i might give him that! then when he plays all over christmass it will sound nice !!!

otherwise, if no one gives me ideas soon, they will all be getting oxfam unwrapped gifts! i usually give a little oxfam unwrapped to everyone, but it might be a bigger one this year!

i don't really like shopping and i loathe trailing round shops full of stressed people, so i liek to get it all done as early as i can!
