It's a bit early for you to be doing accounts Pip!

If the sun is shining no don't bother it's too nice to waste the weather; if it's chucking it down with rain no don't bother doing accounts will only depress you more.

Why waste time thinking about them? Go have fun, the accounts will still be there in the morning!

Only do accounts when you have totally run out of all other jobs that need / might need / possibly need / don't really need to be done

At the very bottom of my to do list, only in January do they come up to the top and only then get marked "high priority".
Over the years I have done less and less, I only enter utilities once yearly, Can't be a***d to write the same figure in every bloomin week, same goes for alot of other entries.
Absolutely do not do your accounts today, far to early to even be thinking about them!

Now, you see, I would say yes. Do them today. Otherwise you will end up doing them over the Christmas hols like I usually do! Can't be doing with last minute in Jan.
Getting them done soon gives me lots of time to get over the depression of how little I've earned and plenty time to work out how on earth HMRC manage to come to such a ridiculous figure and more to the point.................how the bloomin' 'eck am I gonna pay it?
