my baby made it through his first day at secondery school

I have been ill for days

I made him text me when he got there and text me when he got on the school bus coming home.

He is so little (much to little for big school i think)

BUT he has made it through, rather i have made it through.

Now he just has to face a proper day tomorrow with all the other kids there ahhhhh where is the wine

My youngest daughter starts seniors tomorrow and I am much more worried than her! She's really excited, and keeps telling me to chill out, she'll be fine! So grown up for an 11 year old, but she's still my baby and is quite petite. She's spent the summer perfecting withering stares on her dad! If looks could kill!

my eldest started at high school yesterday, he was very overwhelmed with his amount of homework, and was crying and getting stressed before bed. he told me all that was on his mind and said "and to top it all off mum my trousers are too long" bless my lil chicken
