    Default Anyone from Suffolk

Is anyone here from Suffolk? Ds and I went house hunting yesterday in Woodbridge and are thinking of relocating.
    Anyone know the local area?

My sister did her BHS (horse riding) training at Newton Hall in Swilland not far from Woodbridge.

I originally came from Essex - to the north east of the county - just across from Suffolk and one side of my family are Suffolk born. Nephew lives in Stowmarket.

Lots of lovely countryside, Ipswich used to be good for big shops (no idea how much it may have changed ) and we used to go to the football there with my dad

Coasts are way nicer than here on the south coast - sorry, don't want to offend anyone but coming from flat sandy beaches to pebble slopes of Brighton was a shock when I first moved!

    Sorry not much help really

my nan was a real suffolk one - she always said she was from silly Suffolk she had lots of words she used which always made us laugh - "ung'uns" = onions "brass-eels" - brazils (nuts)
