    Its my DD Holly.

She's nervous but also excited, she can't wait to go to 6th form.
She wants to do Fashion, Photography, Media and English.

She is walking up to school with a group of friend to get her results. Then I'm expecting around 10 girls to invade the house this morning. I've got lots of tissues and make up wipes ready

    Good luck to you all.

DD had her AS results last week - Imedia 'distinction' and photography 'A'. Next year A levels , year after DS GCSEs. Could do with a break of nail biting times!

God-daughter gets her results today but they are on hols - wonder what they will do? Post I guess?

My DS gets his at 10am. He is fine but i feel sick

He then has to get straight on the bus and get to his new college for 6th form by 11.30am.

I feel like i need a hug off him but he is sooooo past hugging his mam. (where has my baby gone)

Although he did speak to me this morning in a proper voice (instead of grunting)
but that was just to ask for a bacon sandwich.

    Good luck everyone
    Im in the pub

My daughter 14 took one of her maths GCSEs 10 months early in year 9 and we have just found out she got a c. we are very proud of her.

A horrible teacher at primary school told us and her that she wouldn't amount to much in life because she wasn't bright enough. All she ever needed was encouragement.

She also took I.T. and R.E. but cannot get those results until she goes back to school.

Welldone Rubybubbles and Holly. My DS got 3 B's, 5C's, 2 D's. Much better than his mocks. He is going on to form 6 with renewed enthusiasm as he admitted he didn't revise as much as he should have.
