does anyone know if you can replace the cream of tartar with anything?
I've done it without cream of tarter before and it was really sticky we couldn't use it, I haven't got any so I'm wondering if you can replace it?

I think that's the preservative isn't it?
I have made it without but it's only lasted a day or 2... there are lots of recipes on the internet if you have a browse
