Just the one mindee today, a older one so we are off shopping their choice mmm what have I let myself in for taking 2 12yos round town.

I finish today for the week and next week off on our first holiday in 5 years so lets have bad weather till monday please

Got back last night from a few days away in France, Phew it was hot over there.
Back to rain, rain and more rain, just what I need when I have a load of washing to get done.
How has everyone been? What have you all been up to while I was away, what have I missed?

Unpacking & washing today then popping over to a friends for a coffee later with a prezzie for feeding the rabbits while we were away.

started raining here around 5am. DH and kids were camped out in back garden (DD still there ).


it's nice and fresh but the house was steaming this morning with all the downstairs windows shut in teh night - have had to fling them all open.

It's a good day for me! My last one at work until 30th August and to make it even better my mindee turned up on the doorstep this morning with a bottle of wine! a belated birthday pressie

We are birthday cake making today for dd2 who is 12 on Saturday then I will be preparing myself for her sleepover party later

After thunder storms last night we've still got more rain today. We do need the water though. Think it'll be a biscuit making day today. Just one more week to go then off to Torquay for a week

bit foggy this morning. think we'll be making some cakes this morning and going to a free play ranger session at a local park.
mindee goes home at lunchtime and this afternoon we need to go to the library as DS & DD have finished the holiday reading challenge and then we're packing for our week away in the campervan

Pouring with rain here in West Sussex which is a big shame as me and the other half had hoped to get the train to have a day in Brighton as it's my birthday today. Instead, I've been decorating my Son's room - ready for when he gets back from his dad's - with the promise of a 'posh' meal tonight.

Its pouring here and garden is flooded, so wont even get going out to play if it stops. Our bed is under the window and it was open last night and got woken by rain on my face

Children are doing stickers and eating their fruit at the moment, think it will be ink pads and stamps next

Horrible day here, absolutely pelting down with rain but still quite warm though. Only my own children and 1 older mindee today. OH is decorating the kitchen today so I'm taking the children out for lunch and to soft play for an hour. The rain is meant to stop around lunchtime (fingers crossed)

just waiting for dd to come with her litttle one and then we are going into to town, and the winter gardens and then into the park for a picnic, so hope the weather holds


there is a indoor cafe but i dont think you can eat your own food

It's very wet here today but feels cooler. No mindees again today but thinking about going out to CC this afternoon and also the library. DS and I have had a lazy day so far, he only got me up at 9 which was good as we all slept very badly due to the heat. Hope everyone has a lovely day. Hx
