Daisy - we got her from a rescue home when she was about 18 months old - it was a total fruitloop and I did wonder for a while whether we'd done the right thing. She is Whippet X . she is around 12 years old now and still a blooming fruitloop - she can (and does jump 6ft fences), has no road sense and loves nothing more to snuggle onto your lap. Its a dustbin too - it literally eats anything!!! and I mean that.... i was once making a cuppa and flicked the teabag into the bin across the kitchen... she grabbed it mid leap and ate the darned thing!

Your daisy sound like my wippet/greyhound cross, is always looking for food, constantly getting into my bin, will find food when we go on walks and also has eaten a teabag. Loves carrots, well anything to be honest and really annoys me, because shes soooo skinny.

Here is a picture of me with my two whippets Jade (right - the smiling crazy puppy like one) and on the left is my shy retiring Aleigh.
Aleigh sadly passed away this Easter Sunday after a tragic accident. I miss her loads, she was only 6.

I love yours, is she a broken coated or long haired? Mylo is a broken coated but we (I) shave him as he gets so hot! xxx (kisses for the dogs)
She is long haired.... in that last pix of her I had 'trimmed' her myself!!!! she gets sooo long so quickly and looks really raggy and the groomers cost a fortune!

    Love Leos pic.
Haven't done a pic yet, not sure if its worked. This is hopefully Rascal who is 3, same birthday as ds. He lives up to his name. Is most happy when your throwing stones at the beach or a snowball. He is also always curled up by my feet.045_opt.jpg

I don't know if i have done this right and i had to get my 14yr old dd to help so i am posting these 24 hours after everybody else.

This is our dog Cassie, she is 7 next month and she is a labrador, collie, husky cross and she is an absolute angel which funnily enough is the name of our rabbit. She adores the rabbit and is very protective of her, must have something to do with being a similar colour.

She also likes vegetable peelings, particularly carrots, and loves ham sandwiches at lunch time. she is brilliant with the children and they all love her too. x

Just wanted to add a couple more.

Cassie also likes to join in with the games and is manic about pulling fluff out of her toys, and her own pillow which we have given her, stuffed with fluff, which she pulls out, and my dd stuffs back in, for her to pull out again, endlessly.

I am pleasantly surprised by the number of childminders who have dogs, or are just getting them, it was such a big decision for me after thinking it was years of no way would it work!

It is one of the best things i have done, love my two to bits!

We have some cute dogs between us!
