    Congratulations to the family

I thought my DS at 10lb 7 1/2 was big enough! He was a few days early - glad i didn't go late with him, would have been a monster (he is now 14 and 6' tall with size 11 feet! but still my baby )

My friend gave birth to the heaviest baby born naturally in Britain seven years ago, she was 13 1/2 pounds!! This record was beaten 22 months later by her son who weighed 15 pounds (again a natural birth!)

I am sure babies just keep getting bigger!

my SILs who are twins and in their 40s were 8lb each - MIL spent a while in hospital before having them. My DH was 10lb 6 so I was not surprised at DS being big I just wish MIL had not told me the story when I was very heavily pregnant with him
