He will be a martyr in their eyes and there are probably loads of people who will step into his shoes. We must expect a backlash.

Have just spotted this on Facebook Hebs but not checked out the news yet - do you def think it'll be him? I sure they thought theyd got him once before? Am just sick of all the arguments between countries - but I guess thats going to be life as we know it

well i certianly hope it is him, and as they have been tracking him since august last year they must have had time to rule it out or confirm it

and as i have said on a friends FB status, we are at risk anyway so we may as well be at risk for a reason

Obama siad his troops have got his body. May sound sick to some but America will need proof that it's truly this evil man. I know murder is wrong but this man needed taking down after what he's not only done to westerners but also to people in his own country who didn't agree with him.

Well done to those brave men/women who have finally rid the world of another evil man and to all those who've lost their lives fighting for the good of the planet.

It was confirmed on Yahoo News (email) about 2hrs ago... Obama saying he was dead.

Glad that that is over, but like others fear for what/if anything comes back!!

I am glad they have finally got him, but my 14 year old dd is in new york on a school trip, and i was already finding it difficult with her going so far away without us. Now i am not going to stop worrying until she is home.

I definately think the risk has increased for travellers between the two countries, but it was going to happen eventually, they were not going to give up until they got him.

Those were exactly my thoughts. Why on earth have they done that? It could be anyone and we have no idea at all if it was him or not, just what the Americans and now the press want us to believe.

Even if they produce photos at a later date it is still no proof that it is him because it is amazing how these things can be made to look like what they want us to see.

they burried him within 12 hours of his death as its to do with muslim law or something

i'd have hung him up for the world to see and stuff muslim law, he wasnt a true muslim anyway as muslims condem violence

his body has been dumped at sea to stop his burial site becoming a shrine

we were at risk anyway so it may as well be for a reason

I think they got DNA evidence before they disposed of the body. They tried to give his body to Saudi (I think it was)but they refused, so respected the faith and had him buried . I do worry what and where they will attack next

would rather have seen him brought to justice and suffer or it but I cant say him being dead is nesacerily a good thing cause his troops will see him as a martar and will want revenge, yes we were at risk but now we are probably even more at risk from attacks because they will not only want to prove their point but to seek revenge

I agree, but living in Prison, even in isolation would have been too good for him .
