has to be both
One
Both
has to be both
I don't use butter... it makes bread taste really greasy... neither does dp or ds.
Dd butters both
both definately! but i sometimes use mayonnaise instead on a chicken sandwich, but only spread thinly.
and if adding pickle to a cheese and ham sandwich then the pickle has to go on the slice next to the cheese not the ham! lol
dont use butter if having peanut butter sandwich tho.
I normally don't bother with butter if I'm having a sandwich, but if I'm making them for other people I always butter both sides.
I thought the whole point of buttering the bread was to stop the bread going soggy with the filling so there would be no point in only doing on side, could be wrong though. Hx

We have countless arguments in our house over this, OH never has an explanation as to why he does it, I butter both if I'm making a sandwich for someone else but don't use it at all if it's for me as I'm always looking for ways to eat less calories

My ex always used to only butter one slice, def seems to be man thing!!!
Both - unless I'm using mayonnaise, then its butter on one and mayo on the other.
Yay - I love being right. I think he is beginning t accept that I am, most definitely, totally right.... Thank you guys
Familiarity breeds contempt - and children Mark Twain

6 people in this household and all butter/spread both slices............it helps the bread stick to the filling or it falls apart................
