Still waiting for xmas cards sent by lots of my family!!!

Some sent three weeks ago and still not here. Apparently all the local sorting offices have been closed and only warrington is open so there is a back log..

Great idea eh?

any one with same problems?

I had a letter today delivered from Inland Revenue dated 22nd NOVEMBER

luckily it wasnt urgent

Yup we have problems here too. I think our stuff might come from Warrington as well.

We have a parcel from the middle of December still missing and the replacement hasn't come either

Hopefully they will catch up soon

tracking number says it in process !!!

my best friend in fife posted my christmas card at the begining of december - it arrived today!

i posted her boys christmas presents on 15th december, they arrived on the 18th! 2nd class !!!

Spoke to on of my dads last night (he is a postie) and he told me there were lorry trailers full of our post in warrington. No plans to sort it all out as there are not enough staff to get through the current post never mind the backlog!

OH has not had passwords etc for a credit card and has had problems paying his bill...all because of this backlog. Luckily he has sorted it out...i know folk who have been sent red letters for unpaid bills which are stiil in the trailers!!!

So....i have emailed BBC northwest and told them what has been going on. Might email local MP and paper.
