Default TAKING DOWN THE DECORATIONS / TREE

When do you do yours ?

Have you already done it ?

Do you do it New years day ?

Or do you wait 12 days after Christmas ?

Taking the hall ones down tomorrow as we want to decorate the hall. The rest will come down on 6th Jan.

My Christmas isn't over yet, it lasts about a week with different visitors coming for a meal and to exchange gifts

I wanted to take them down yesterday, but DH said it was too early!
I'm going to take the playroom stuff down this afternoon (tree, decorations, christmas display) so I can start to think about what the next display will be.

The rest of the decorations will come down on New Years day

Everything comes down on New Years Day ( tree and decs that is )

Then its a right good clean up and a sparkling tidy house, the lounge suddenly looks very big and spacious !

Then you look around and think ... ohhh this room could do with decorating!!!!

I start to take mine down from New Years day onwards, usually the cards go first, then the chains, then the tinsle and finally the tree on the 6th of Jan. I once took the whole lot down on the 6th of Jan and it looked so bare, it was horrible so i do it gradually.

Hope you had a good Christmas and a good 2011 to come.
