I have spent the last 5hrs tromping around Hampshires beautiful countryside with hubby and my dog and I am sooo achy now I need my Saturday night medicine

We walked just short of 9 miles, the rain lashed down to start with but not for long, then we had lovely sunshine. The countryside was just stunning

We saw loads of pheasants (actually watched a shoot as it was going on on one of the fields we walked through) and birds of prey. It was so lovely to be out with just my hubby and no children to slow us down/ make us hunt for fairies etc

The dog's now conked out (think we broke her

), I have blisters on the bottom of my feet and I ache all over but it feels good

So now its time for wine and strictly. Anyone else fancy one after a busy day? Pour a glass and chill with me

Just poured a glass for myself, Lovely!!
Had a busy day at our Finnish School with the little ones..(I'm a teacher there..), then lunch and gossip with friends for the rest of the day.. so it's been lovely, but out of house for the past 11hrs!

Now it's just nice to put my feet up and drink vino!

My first ever visit to Stonehenge in the torrential rain this morning, so cold we ended up running around it just to keep warm!

Then went into Salisbury and visited the Cathedral.

We had my DH's vintage bus and his sisters and their boyfriends had been 'decorating' the bus whilst waiting for us.

They are Goths and put bats and rats all over it

This drew a little group of people to the bus and they took pictures.

Must have looked a right sight.

Having some vino now and the kids are so tired they went straight to sleep when we got in at 9pm after being out since 8am this morning.
