    Default Accommodation Alton Towers/Drayton Manor

    Recommendations for:

Looking for reasonably priced accomodation near either of those venues - half way between.
B&B, mobile home (static - anyone hire theirs out?????), hotel
Checking Premier inns/Travel Lodge - because we got 3 kids we have to have two rooms - way to go bumping up the price!!!!

October half term. Not sure which venue we are going to visit just depends....

    cheers

My hubby took my big kids to Alton Towers and stayed in a really nice B & B called The Malt House, which was about a mile away. He said it cost around £80 a night.

There are lots of little b + b's around alton towers, uttotexter area. I'm on my phone at the min computer not back from the doctors till monday. Plus look in the staafordshire area which is close to both venues. Dh worked in uttotexter so will be able to get some recommendations when he gets in.

Its madness its like you are penalised for having that extra child.
As it is I have scoured all the hotels and cannot find ANYTHING, even checked the Alton Towers hotels (scary scary scary prices). Its typical we can never find this 'great deals', 'half price rooms' 'kids go free' deals ever .

Had a look at Quarry - looks like a bit of a stuffy uptight campsite - the reviews are rather split. No Log cabins available for the dates I want.

Looks like we are going to have to take our tourer....

anyone got a static or a posh log cabin (with hot tub lol) they wanna hire out to a me

I live inbetween both places so you can pitch up on my spare parking place if you want, only got one spare small bedroom but you could always take turns to have a couple of hours sleep and take it in turns to use the bathroom and have your meals.

We stayed here in the holidays, it was lovely. The couple running it were really kind and helpful. Accommadation clean and bright. Kids had a lovely time. not too pricey either.
