LOL Cherry- you'd be telling the truth!! I might try that one!
I have 8 children on a tuesday(sibling sets and my 8yr old) after school, I live in a small village and pick up from a small school, it still amazes me the comments we get-I don't mind tho, I just think most people can't imagine doing what we do-after all its a very special job and its not for everyone I just give a cheery reply and go on my way

I had the funniest one the other day in the bank - I was with my DH, George and my mindee - who is a 1 year old BLACK baby. An old woman looked at me with pure pity in her eyes and said 'got what he wanted and left you did he'?!? I was totally non-plussed until George said 'mummy' to me, then she looked at him and DH (who are the spitting image of each other) and said to my DH - 'And you stayed with her even though she cheated did you? Thats nice of you, or is it because she's younger you don't mind.'
I honestly think she must have been slightly Gaga to have made all of that up in her mind.
    Blessed Be!

I also get more comments when I don't have any children, which admittedly, is rare. People say: "You look lonely" or "Left em home alone, have you?" or "Haven't you forgotten something?". I don't mind, as long as they are talking to me, they're not ignoring me!!
