Default Need to let it out

Ok sorry but need to let it out as I am a bit of a control freak. Finally, after loads of backwards and forwards to the Dr I am now being referred to the hospital for a scan as they think I have a fibroid!!!!!

I am relieved to say the least and would quite happily let them take it all away, I have no more use for it lol. Along with the amount of problems it has caused me throughout the years, I just think that in 20 years time they will be taking it away anyway!!!!!

Thoughts and opinions and any others experiences would be gratefully received xx

Its a decision only you can make, how do u feel about havin op now rather than later? I know no time is a good time but could u manage going into hospital and the recovery after, you'll have to weigh up the pros and cons of waiting. just hope things go ok xxx

    Hi

Not too sure how old you are but the best decision I ever made was to have my hysterectomy when I was 42. After years and years of suffering I was so glad to be offered one and have never regretted my decision.

I have them too. They ended up fitting a coil and that has reduced my fibroids and no longer have any bleeding at all They didn't remove mine, just took a biopsy and all is now great. Hope it works out well for you.

Thanks for the replies. Im researching now and will just wait for the scan to come through.

I am only 38 but seriously do not want anymore kids, 1 boy, 1 girl, so although it is a big op, Im thinking why bother wasting time, hey ho wait to see the consultant xx
