Yes, I hit the big 40 last Friday - thanks for announcing it Angel.

My birthday was nice - went for breakfast with hubby and then took my Mum to visit my Dad in hospital in the afternoon as it is over an hour away and then we took our kids and my Mum out to dinner in the evening. All very lovely.

On Saturday I went on a spa day with a friend courtesy of hubby paying for us both. Had a lovely day relaxing, unwinding, doing nothing but reading mags, eating, drinking (non-alcoholic of course) and being pampered. Full facial and body massage - oh yes - it was bliss.

I got lots of little pressies as well which included a beautiful canvass photo of my children which hubby got done and a lovely pair of hoop earrings.

Thank you all for you very kind messages - they mean so much to me as I'm really sensitive right now with my Dad being poorly and all you messages have made me cry.
