Marmite: love it or hate it

following on from the breakfast thread

i like marmite ( although i don't love it) but i have a son who loathes the stuff and a mindee's father who won't even kiss his daughter if she so much as smells of it ( she loves it and asks for it every breakfast)

i dont eat it for breakfast but lunchtime ish its crumpets with butter marmite and grated cheese, with a cuppa mmmmmmmmmmm

I love it, always have done. As a child took cheese and marmite sandwiches to school for packed lunch for 9 years.

Spread it on a chunk of cheese for a quick snack

On toast with cheese for breakfast/lunch

On crispbread with low philadelphia cheese if I am being good

Under the cheese on cheese on toast, dipped in tomato soup yum!

DS is the same as me - likes it thick, DD likes it - but spread very thin.

How can anyone hate it

i like mine - spread thin though. Kids like it but Brian HATES it (to the point he will hide the jar) and won't give me or the kids a kiss if we have had some.

Guess who gets slathered in marmite kisses lol

I LOVE it, have it everyday, my husband hates it with a passion. My eldest daughter tries it sometimes and my youngest loves it and has it everyday!
Even the cat loves it

Yum love it, have it most days, so does DS. DH hates it with a passion.

I even have a recipe book for it, with marmite potato wedges as a favorite

Love it, but seems to go in phases of actually eating it, like it under cheese on toast, on crumpets, and on toast.
