    Default Good Evening Friday

    Good evening everyone.

That's another working week done. I hope your weeks have all been good.

I wasn't working today but was up and out early to go for a blood test. I didn't think I'd be in there long, but my veins weren't cooperating, so after several attempts to get blood out of my arm, they had to take it from my hand instead. Even that wasn't easy and I've now got a lovely bruise on the back of my hand!

After that DH and I went out for breakfast. We were the only ones in there, which was a shame really. It's normally quite busy but people obviously aren't going at the moment. I felt sorry for the staff standing round doing nothing. They must be worried about their jobs.

After breakfast we did a bit of shopping and managed to pick up a couple more bits for Christmas. I had a look in Hobbycraft and got some things for the minded children's Christmas crafts. Now I just need to make sure I don't lose them before December

Now I'm sat with my feet up, having a cup of coffee and eating biscuits. Perfect end to the week

I took my mindee on a Halloween walk this morning to spot pumpkins etc. I went down some streets where I have not ventured before as I'm still relatively new to the area. I love that my mindee loves going for walks.

    Tonight we are just chilling.

We have ordered our Christmas dinner! We have ordered frozen roast potatoes and veg with all the trimmings from Marks and Spencers. We haven't done that before but we just wanted to get sorted. Our supermarket here is known for having terrible traffic jams to get in and out of the car park at Christmas and we don't want to risk them running out of fresh veg. It might be rubbish but it is quite nice knowing that we wont have to cook.

Hope your bruise goes soon Mouse.

We've ordered ours from M&S. We got it last year for the first time and we really enjoyed it. It made it so much easier not having to cook!

goodness me! i've not even thought about Christmas yet! ...

That said ... DH gets a turkey as a gift from work, We have a huge sack of potatoes from local farm in garage, and i do have various veg in freezer! Maybe i'll buy some pigs in blankets etc for the freezer now, and then we're sorted!

so ... where did yesterday go? ... i had 6 children here and it was really good fun, but busy! we went for a walk to a local woods in the drizzle ... it dried up and we were out for a couple of hours ... went home with filthy dirty children who had been climbing trees and i don't know what else !!!!

Morning, I have actually ordered our Christmas food too first time ever ! We always say we are going to then its too late so the year I have ordered our turkey, vegetarian option for my eldest in the hope he will be able to travel to us, plus all the trimmings. We have a weekly veg box delivery anyway so the Christmas veg is all sorted. After seeing the headlines this morning about going back in to full countrywide lockdown I am happy that I have got that job sorted. I am planning on popping to the local shop this morning to get some birthday cards but now a little concerned after seeing the news that everyone will be out panic buying this morning!

Lockdown again, how confusing for our minded children. They will have to stop coming again! Will it work or will the virus continue when lockdown stops?

Loocyloo bet the children had a fab time at the woods. Dirty children are happy children!

It’s so nice that most children enjoy being outside and it’s so good for them and us really.

Mouse if you put the Christmas crafts in a safe place you’ll definitely lose them I always forget where I have put then.

Mouse, maybe you should tell us where you are planning on storing all your Christmas things, then we can remind you if you forget!

That's not a bad idea! The craft bits I bought from Hobbycraft are on the second shelf in the very full left hand cupboard! I put things in there are the disappear off to some parallel universe, only to reappear months later when I no longer need them
