    Default It’s the weekend!

I hope you’re all managing to have a peaceful weekend after a busy week.

We haven’t got much planned, although DH has got a slot at the local tip booked for tomorrow morning. That’s about the most exciting thing happening all weekend . I need to have a quick sort through the shed this morning and see what needs to go. We’ll do a trip to take stuff to the charity shop this afternoon then the rest will go to the tip tomorrow. It’s nonstop fun here

How’s everyone doing with their local COVID restrictions? Is anyone in one of the higher tier areas? So far we’re still in tier 1. DD and I had notifications last weekend to say we’d had ‘possible exposure’, but that was followed by another notification saying the data had been reviewed and we didn’t need to do anything. It was a bit of a shock when the first message popped up!

    Enjoy your weekends everyone

    Morning.

We have no plans. It's raining all day here today, but tomorrow is supposed to be decent - then raining every day over half term. Typical.

We're still in the lowest tier, although cases are on the rise according to several newsletters that we get from various organisations. My family are in tier 3 now. So, we moved thinking we would see more of them as we are a lot closer, but the opposite has happened.

I've just ordered Claire Balding's new book for DD for Christmas - 100 inspirational animals (or words to that effect). I saw her talking about it on Loose Women and it sounds like a lovely read. Do you watch Loose Women? It's my guilty pleasure. Obviously I don't watch it live, and I don't watch it every day, but it does make me laugh.

It’s drizzly rain here in Kent. Spent my morning clearing out the cupboard under the stairs. Then I’m off to an Andy Warhol exhibition and hopefully dinner too. Have a good weekend everone

Evening everyone hope you are enjoying your weekend, I have been for a blustery walk on the beach and been to visit my parents, tomorrow I plan on not doing a lot, sewing/reading and watching a movie on tv. I try and make Sunday a day for relaxing and make sure I do something for me.

My youngest is now in Tier 3 and eldest is tier 2 but expecting to be moved up at anytime. They both seem ok and resigned to just getting on with it. Where we live we have a low amount of cases but it is on the rise, I did have one of those exposure notices which I was surprised about as hadn't been out far!

Who is going to be watching Strictly tonight?

    Evening.

I've come to see my mum and tomorrow I'm going to see DS for lunch out. We're all tier 1, but not close by!

It's chucking it down with rain but luckily we're just chatting and planning to watch Strictly!

I do like Claire Balding. I saw her talking about her new book on the Jonathan Ross show last week. I don't think I've ever watched Loose Woman. I'm afraid I don't like any of the woman who present it and they've always put me off even trying it!
