Default The weekend is nearly over!

I can't believe it's Monday again tomorrow. That's gone so quickly!

We've had a lovely relaxing weekend. Yesterday we got the food shopping and household jobs done so today we had a free day. The weather was lovely - a bit cold when the clouds came over, but glorious in the sunshine. We had a drive out into the countryside, a lovely long walk then stopped off for coffee and cake on the way home. Now I'm sitting relaxing while the roast cooks.

This evening we're doing a family quiz. We did them regularly when we first went into lockdown, but haven't done one for a while. It gets very competitive

I hope you've all had good weekends and feel revived ready for the week ahead

    I know!

Where did the weekend go? I seemed to be busy taxi ing DD around and sitting round reading my book! Although DH and I did go for little walk this afternoon as I needed to replace a geocache!

I have a long list of jobs to do tomorrow on my day off, but hopefully I'll get them all done pretty quickly.

The weather was rubbish on Saturday and so we just pottered around doing lots of odd jobs and all managed to be reasonably constructive (although I still didn't sort out the utility loocyloo!). Today we went for a lovely walk in the countryside.

We've just finished cleaning the house ready for work tomorrow and we're going to sit and chill/watch tv with a nice cup of tea. DD, bless her, is making me a grandfather clock out of a big cardboard box ready for hickory dickory dock tomorrow, which is a rhyme we are focusing on at the moment.
