    Default Good morning Thursday

It’s my last working day of the week today and I’m really looking forward to a day off tomorrow. I seem to have been particularly tired this week so I’m looking forward to a bit of a lie in in the morning

I’ll just have 2 children here again today and, if it’s anything like the rest of the week, we’ll spend most of the morning outside. We’re then in for lunch and a bit of quiet time before singing and song time, then home. I am enjoying the early finishes

Enquiries are starting to come in again now, but so far nothing I can accommodate. It’s a good sign though that people are starting to look again. I have had a several enquiries for Jan/Feb next year and I’m wondering whether to carry on enjoying the quieter time until Christmas, then take on more children in the New Year. It’s been quite nice having fewer children here and doing shorter days. I need to have a look at finances and see how they’re looking

    Have good days everyone

    good morning!

we're off to an open air story time this morning ... not sure quite how it will work, but at least it will be dry! am hoping story teller has a microphone! I'm done a little one today ... mum says just not herself, but no symptons of anything, so she's keeping her home to be on the safe side.

I'm still getting lots of enquiries, but all for next september, or a couple for next summer ... none of which, at the moment, i can do, as already filled next academic years places!

Random question .... has the age changed for the MMR jab? I KNOW it was 13 mths when my children had it, but recently, it appears to be as soon as they turn 1!

    have a good day everyone.

    xx

I've just had my little one in for another two hour settling session. He is absolutely adorable and I am loving working from a house with an accessible garden rather than a first floor flat. We had a decent garden with the flat, but it was a bit of a trek getting there - locking my flat, going through the communal parts of the building, locking the communal door, going through the communal gardens before I got to my private garden - but now I am living the dream, lol.

The puppy is a pain though. He stayed with DH (too jumpy/excitable at the minute to be with me and mindees) but as soon as the mindee had gone home he was in the playroom stealing toys.

You forget how many logistical problems you work out as a childminder - all the transitions from one part of the routine to the next. I kept thinking, gosh if Mrs O walked in right now she would be horrified. I've definitely got a few tweaks to make.

Fussy, hope no one else is showing symptoms in your house.

Enjoy the lovely weather while it lasts everyone.

    Good afternoon everyone.

No one else is showing symptoms its just annoying that the children are off school again.

The sun is shining brightly here which is making the day feel better. Isolation is worse than lockdown because we can't go anywhere. Hopefully get his results soon so I can food shop
When someone tells you nothing is impossible, tell them to go slam a revolving door
