    Default Good morning Monday

This would be my usual week off, but as we had nothing booked and as I had 10 weeks off during lockdown, I’ve not taken any extra time off. Having said that, some of the children are away this week so I’m only working 2 days anyway. The same is happening the week after next when I’ll get a 5 day break, including the weekend, so DH and I will try to get away for a couple of days then.

How are you doing today Loocyloo? It must be difficult having to lie so still for such a long time. It’s good to see your family have been looking after you though. Let’s hope they keep that up! I’m not often ill, but if I am my family are really good to start with. They soon get bored though and leave me to fend for myself

What’s everyone got planned for today? I’ve not got any children here but have got a pile of paperwork to sort through. I did get on top of everything at the beginning of lockdown, but the pile has slowly built up again. My aim is to get it all sorted before September, so I should have plenty of time, even if I do get sidetracked by more exciting stuff

    Have good days everyone

Morning all, probably water play, sprinkler ( not banned yet are they?) leappad learning system inside, marble painting. As soon as the weather starts creeping up we will be inside.

Took the dog to the fields 5.15 this morning then a quick walk 7.30 then he’ll be in till it cools down.

Anyone with dogs please remember the tarmac gets hot for their paws during the day, dogs don’t cope with heat so please keep them cool. Rant over!! Sorry, I see so many people out in the heat with dogs.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning,

Its another lovely sunny day here so will be trying to keep everyone one cool! My full timer often turns up tired on a Monday as their family has tried to cram so much in to the weekend! I have set up some small world play for when they first arrive then the rest of the day I will just follow the children's lead.

I have 2 more weeks then it's my week off and fingers crossed we will be going away as we have a lodge booked in the Lakes.

    Have a lovely Monday everyone!

Morning! 24hrs left of lying on my side. I think they're a bit bored now! Actually...DH has gone to work ( but is only 2 mins away ) dd&ds have gone out with friends ... i was meant to be going too, but can't! However ... friends mum is taking them and coming in when they get back this afternoon. And another friend is coming over shortly. Its quite nice to have some peace!!!

    Have lovely days everyone xxx

So hot and stuffy here in Kent. Went for a walk with the 3 I have here today. We were all flagging by the time we found the car again. A chilled afternoon and they can play or sit in the cool. So lucky to have all this nice weather but I wish it was a few degrees cooler. Have a great day everyone.

I've just walked to the Co-op and it was so hot on the way there. On the way back I got caught in an almighty thunder storm! It was lovely actually. I love storms and the rain - obviously a bit apprehensive with lightening, but generally I love them.

Thunder storm did it cool the air? I don’t do hot so I’m suffering. We usually miss the storms here in the east.

    Good evening.

Loocyloo get better soon detached retina not good.

We are currently digging up the garden. Finally after 14 years of promising me he would level the garden dh has finally started. I cant begin to tell you the mess we have. I think the people who laid the paving slabs were not good enough to be called cowboys.

A thunderstorm would be so lovely right about now
