    Default Good morning Friday

Shh...I’m not really here. I’m on my online safeguarding training, but this part doesn’t apply to me so I’ve got a bit distracted!
The training should have been this afternoon but the trainer asked if we could swap it to this morning. It suits me better so I was happy to. It means I’ve got the rest of the day free.

The weather looks so much better today so I’m going into the garden this afternoon to chop some trees back. They’re so overgrown they hang over the children’s play area and I’m fed up of constantly sweeping up leaves and cleaning bird poop off the toys. DH hates me doing it because he thinks I chop them back too far, but he’s not here this afternoon so it’ll be too late by the time he realises what I’ve done They always grow back anyway so it’s not as if they’re gone forever!

Anyway, I’d better get back to my training! Have good days all and enjoy the sunshine ☀️

    Enjoy your course Mouse!

I'm being really, really lazy here, but could someone tell me if I am supposed to feed my tomato plants? I know I could easily have a quick google, but my mind wanders when I am googling gardening stuff. I need someone to tell me in plain English.

DH is working up in the loft again doing the insulation. It's a terrible job as he is undoing the bad job which was attempted by the previous owner. Last night I let him watch Mission Impossible instead of putting on another episode of The Secrets she Keeps.

DD leaves primary school next week and I am unsure of what to do about leaving gifts for the teachers. They are so strict (thank goodness) on cross contamination and don't allow the children to take things to and from the setting. Although having said that, they are doing a talent show next week and DD wants to juggle. They are allowing her to take in her juggling balls but has to get them disinfected when she arrives at school.

Mouse, how is your mother-in-law doing?

Hope you enjoyed your training Mouse, and then chopped down your trees!

And happy gardening Maza. I don't really know much, but I remember being told to feed my tomatoes once a week after the first truss has grown .... i feed every now and again when I remember with a generic plant/tomato feed ... I'm not sure exactly what it is ... as snails have eaten the label!!!

We went for a walk in the woods and managed to avoid the rain. Then got home and had to send children out to run around the garden as the older 2 still had far too much energy for my liking!

I went for a walk with my friend then sat and watched midsomer murders. I’ve never watched them in the past but I’m hooked now and watching every episode going. Picked up my grandson from school at lunchtime and took him home. Had a nice chat with my son in law. Then came home and waited for Dd2 to bring her new car up to show me. Now chilling with a G&T. Good weekend everyone
