    Default Good morning Thursday

Another wet and miserable day. What happened to the sunshine? It doesn’t have to be hot, but dry would be good!

Luckily I have plenty of wellies and raincoats here so we can still get outside. Yesterday we left some bowls outside so we could see how much rain they’ve got in them today. Today we’re going to find leaves and flowers to put in the water and I’ll freeze them for next week. Hopefully we’ll get a hot day then so we can watch them melt.

Last night I found The Secrets She Keeps on iPlayer so started to watch it. I did enjoy it so that’ll be my weekly viewing for a couple of weeks.

Have fun today everyone and stay dry

Oooooh, I'm glad you're enjoying The Secrets She Keeps. I don't actually remember the case in real life like you do, so I don't know what happens - although it seems fairly obvious what is going to happen. We're on episode 3.

Your rain activity sounds wonderful. There was a nice activity on the Wanderlust course/website using collected rainwater. She put a jar of it on her interest table for the children to use with the water colour paints instead of the usual tap water. She had rainy day books/pictures etc on the table too.

It's a wet and miserable day here too.

We're quite interested in the 'eating for half price' thing that the govt announced yesterday. We're hoping some of our favourite restaurants will sign up to it.

    Morning!

And what a morning it has been! I've had to break out the emergency chocolate!

One 20mth old back for first time since start of march ... always was very attached to mummy and a lousy sleeper .... came in with barely a whimper, plays but howls as does so. Almost 3 yr old arrived in a strop ... mum said she got out of bed wrong side! .... just 2 Yr old WAS fine ... but emotions of other 2 have set him off too! ... did a 45 min round trip in car to drop DD at station ... NOT ONE of them fell asleep! Got home and put 2 to bed and 20mth in buggy ... requiring constant rocking! Only another 6 hrs to go!

Am planning on putting them all outside afterlunch, regardless of weather!

Mouse ... i like the sound of your rain activities. Been doing lots of weather and outside activities too. The other week we painted pictures and let them dry ... then put them outside in the rain! ( and hail! ) amazing to see what they looked like once dried again!

And my day got better ... 20mth old got up after 30min snooze and was comprehensively sick! Sent her home. Other 2 awake ... one eating for England and 'normal' other just not himself!
    Deep clean tonight!

Spoke to ds2 form teacher who has said I'm doing a wonderful job with his home learning. She's going to raise concerns over his handwriting maybe make moves to get him a scribe.
He doesn't hold a pencil/pen properly and complains it hurts.

So today I have been a German art and history teacher. I preferred the history
