    Default Good morning Wednesday

It’s another lovely day so I’m heading back out into the garden. I’ve agreed with DH that I won’t trim the hedges so I’m going to start painting the fences instead. I bought fence paint at the end of last summer when it was being sold off cheap so I need to dig that out of the shed. I’ve checked DH hasn’t taken the keys again “by accident” but I have had to promise to leave the hedge trimmer alone!

When I was in the garden yesterday I could hear a knocking sound coming from somewhere. I tracked it down to a little bird box we’ve got on the wall. I stood on a chair to try and take a photo of whatever was inside (I didn’t want to get too close in case I frightened whatever it was) but couldn’t see anything. A little while later a blue tit flew out. It was quite exciting! The box has been there for a few years but more for decoration than use. Last year I did notice blue tits started to use it but they didn’t hang round for long. I wonder if it’s because the garden is normally busy with children but as it’s pretty quiet now they’re not being disturbed. I need to read up on blue tits to find out when we might expect to see babies

Awww Mouse, how exciting about the birds!

Today I guess will be more housework. This house seems to get dusty very quickly.

What is the general opinion/advice on ordering 'non-essential' goods from amazon at the moment? I keep wanting to order some more storage boxes so that I can organise/tidy cupboards.

We're sleepy today. Cookie had us up twice in the night. He usually sleeps through so if on the rare occasion he does wake up we give him the benefit of the doubt and take him to the garden to do his business. However, last night he just wanted to play in the garden. If we weren't so tired we would have loved being in the garden in the middle of the night. We could hear a cow in the distance and something which we think was a goat. We never hear them during the day. The sky and moon were beautiful last night too.

    How exciting Mouse! Baby birds.

Enjoy painting your fence. I've spent another few hours removing all the weeds and self needed whatever's from the gravelled area the minded children use! All looking very smart! I know it won't last!

I've been ordering stuff from Amazon Maza ... the rest of my family all have birthdays in the next 2 weeks ... and as I can't go to shops, I'm having to order stuff. Some of it won't arrive in time. I was cross because I ordered something for DS and it said delivery in a week's time... just as I was about to press ''pay' I saw it now said 4-6 weeks delivery! The only versions being delivered quickly were expensive ones! ( hmmm... not quite playing fair there Amazon! ) and actually, I then found what I wanted on Ebay!

Have a good day everyone. I'm going to spend the rest of it sitting in the sun!

Afternoon everyone! we have spent a lot of time outside again today, the children enjoyed one of their favourite activites, painting with water . I did a bit of weeding whilst the children were playing. Tomorrow will be my last working day as off all next week so I am hoping this weather continues for my holiday in the back garden

I went for a lovely 3 mile walk this morning. Then went to Waitrose queued for 30 mins to get in but at least I got the few things I needed. I did find it hard to keep my distance from other shoppers though and found others being quite awkward about it and not even trying to give others space. Wish I could get deliveries again and I know that sounds selfish but I didn’t feel safe in the shop
