    Default Afternoon...it’s the weekend!

A little late today, but better late than never!

I was up and out early this morning on a safeguarding course. I should probably have had time to post before I left, but I overslept and was in a mad rush to get there on time. Thank goodness they had the coffee flowing by the time I got there

I’m now come home to an empty house. I’m not sure where everyone has gone, but I’m assuming they’ll all be back home at some point!

As the sun is shining I’m going into the garden to sweep leaves and empty rainwater out of the sand table. I must remember not to leave the cover off it again

I'm loving your posts Mouse - great idea!

This morning we had to wait in for someone to give us a quote for some work on the roof. I took my 'enthusiastic' puppy out for a short walk. The minute there is a breeze and he sees a leaf blowing around he is off. I'm desperately trying to teach him to 'heal'.

I'm trying a new recipe - Delia's courgettes and tomatoes au gratin. It's in the oven - I'm thinking it might be too cheesy.

DD wants to use her pyrography pen that she got for Christmas to make some easter decorations on wooden disks. I have to read the instructions first - was hoping that DH would do it but he's watching cricket on tv.

DD and I are off to the co-op later to get some wholemeal flour to make some dog treats. Don't know what I did with my time before I had this dog!

    Oooh Maza that sounds nice.

Dd2 had football this morning we had oatcakes after.

I have a rugby game for ds2 tomorrow and dd2 has rugby training which dd1 is taking her too. The weekends take some sorting out with the different sports

Haha, just re-read my post - I am teaching my dog to 'heel', not to 'heal'!

Evening.....this morning we did our usual weekly shopping and needed to buy some hand wash for the kitchen but our local supermarket has run out and so had our local home bargains I guess everyone has been panic buying! Managed to pick one up in other store but people were going a bit crazy the person behind me had 4! Then had to drop DH at the airport as he has gone to visit his parents who live abroad, a bit of tricky one as he didn't know if he should still go but where they live there hasn't been any cases yet so fingers crossed all will be good. Enjoy the rest of the weekend every one.

    good morning!

spent yesterday watching DD and friends dance ... and off again for another day of it today! I had/have great intentions of getting all my online observations up to date whilst sitting around all day, but didn't manage it yesterday, and probably won't today either !!!

I popped to our local lidl on the way home last night and they had almost run out of toilet roll! and pasta! apparently the pasta comes from italy and from a currently restricted area. i didn't look for the anti bac gel/handwash etc!

have a good day everyone. It's throwing it down here, but supposed to brighten up later.

    x
