    Default Monday morning

Well we survived the first week back at school- hope you all did too.

In fact the school holidsys seem a distant memory away.

A few new starters here plus lots of returning children.

The dark nights seem to be drawing in very quickly. Both football and rugby seasons have started back strange to see it become dark as training is finishing. Though im not quite sure how dd2 is now playing rugby too

    Hope you are all well

    Hello!

monday and the second week of term already! how did that happen? !!!!

starting back to school went well, new starters settled ok ... this is the week of full days etc! fingers crossed

it does seem to have suddenly changed from summer to Autumn and although the sun is ( can be! ) there, it is not as warm as it was only a week ago.

minded children ( well parents ) are still sorting themselves out, with changing hours/days etc but i think we're there now.

The weekend seems to have gone so incredible quickly, it's the first full week of school as they went back midweek last week, I am looking forward to settling in to our normal routines I have new ones plus others that have changed their hours, school runs have now become a bit more fun with 2 x 20 month olds added in to the mix I was spoilt last term with only the occasional 4 year old on the school run!

We only went back on Thursday , and every school run since I have got soaked! What happened to the September heatwave I read about?.!
I’m getting used to the new mix of children , some went up to full time and others juggled days to accommodate a couple of new starters. Also completely changing my documentation to try in the moment planning , I’m hoping it will cut down my paperwork as well as benefitting the children x

Second week here too and today I’m enjoying a day to myself between school runs. It’s been a great summer with the children and I’ve missed our days out but today is clear up after the holidays day if I can get myself motivated
