Default Are you in your Winter woolies yet?

Are you in your Winter gear yet? Or are you still clinging onto the last bits of fine weather? Are you in denial?

I love being able to wear trousers and long sleeved tops which I can hide behind, lol. I don't like having to wear boots though. This last week I have started wearing tights with my ballet pumps, so it's the first step towards restrictive, cumbersome boots.

I really wanted to wear my hat for the school run today - only because my hair needs washing - but when I looked out of the window no one had hats on today, so I couldn't bring myself to do it. I got out my Winter jacket and there is only one glove in the pockets, so I need to buy some before I get caught out.

    Keep warm everyone! x

Oh yes I have even experimented with wearing a food bag between 2 pairs of socks for freezing cold days on the sidelines.

The winter woolly draw was sorted washed about 3 weeks ago

Right here it's that in-between sort of temperature. The one where you wrap up because it feels cold on the way out, only to come back sweaty from the exertion of pushing the buggy.

Fussy, you need to convert them to cricket. Summer sun, deckchairs, picnic and a pint. And it's the only sport where tea is part of the game.

In any case, civilised sports are always played in long trousers.

After freezing conditions last night and not entirely sure I have warmed up yet this may not be a bad idea
