Default What a lovely day and its a bank holiday weekend

I think I broke a record today 3 children all fast asleep within 3 minutes even the one who doesn't really sleep anymore.

I must admit its so much easier to be working on days like this.

But apparently the weather will break hopefully not too soon as ds has a football tournament tomorrow and it would be nice to sit there and enjoy the weather and the football

Then it half term here and Im only working 2 days with a most delightful lo and all my children are looking forward to her being with us.

Have a good day hope you all have a lovely sunny day and most of all enjoy your weekend

Well done. I had both of mine asleep within minutes and both slept for 2 hrs! :0)

I'm working 2 days in half term ... one is quiet with just EY children and on the other I have 6 children aged 15mths to 11 yrs plus my own 2! I'll have 3 who need an afternoon sleep so I'm a bit tied to home. Hoping the weather holds and we can play outside!

I agree, it is so much easier to work when it's sunny!

    Happy half term everyone!

I'm starting the half term with an inner ear infection: vertigo, nausea, blurry sight....
I am managing to sit up now and as long as I stay in this position all is better.
Have family coming so DH has been busy, crossing my fingers I can at least be sociable, but champagne birthday celebration for youngest and DH is not for me now.
Still at least it is the holidays now and we weren't planning to go anywhere so time to recoup.
    Lovely sunshine brightens the mood.

Oh no Flora hope you feel better soon.

Well I have just spent the last few hours baking for the tournament and am now sitting down with a drink a ice look and my book making the most of the evening.

Who else has rock and roll evenings 😂😂😂

Oh Floradora, hope you feel better soon.

Popped into our local charity shop and got some gorgeous clothes for DD at brilliant prices. DD and her friend played in the garden after school but were too hot to do much.

Half term next week and for the first time ever I have no plans/ideas whatsoever.

Officially losing my hearing now! But DH has taken advantage and played Pink Floyd louder, I am usually the volume control.
One of my lovely parents has sent me a great bunch of sunflowers - she is an artist and her message gave reference to Van Gogh - which did make me smile.
Our weekend is so jingst though...birthday barbecue planned ...weather changes! But it does mean that the match has been watched by our guests.
I can now either sit up or lie down, the route either way causes vertigo...so that is better. I am just sat in the corner, drinking water, not moving or hearing any conversation.
Hope nobody was affected by the BA issues.

I'm exhausted. Spent Saturday cleaning my oven, fridge etc, Sunday spent tidying the garden though I did sit and watch the Grand Prix and today has been spent steM cleaning the kitchen cupboards and sorting through their contents. Off to DD1 for dinner now , early celebration for my birthday on Wednesday. Hope everyone's had a good bank holiday weekend
